He previously spent 17 years in the financial services industry, serving the last 8.5 years in Bank Management roles with US Bank. He is a proud graduate of Sidney H.S. and The Ohio State University. He is a past board member and executive board member of the Shelby County United Way. During his tenure, the Shelby County United Way has added 211, Dolly Parton Imagination Library in partnership with Shelby County Libraries, Student United Way, provided seed funding to bring an Emergency Shelter to Shelby County, and started Day of Action Service Projects. He serves on many community task forces and coalitions. He is a former board chair of Ohio Living Dorothy Love and officer and clinic instructor for the West Central Ohio Umpires Association. He has volunteered and served at Tar Hollow Christian Adventure Camp for over 30 years, including a 3 year stint as past director. He is a 30 plus year OHSAA baseball official umpiring two State Championships, one as the home plate umpire and crew chief. He was honored as the 2020 Umpire of the year for the state of Ohio. He lives in Sidney, OH with his fiancé Tiffany and their children.
