“We are pleased to report that pledges have topped $1,349,500.00 as companies have finalized and submitted their campaign totals. Totals place the campaign at 101.8% of the $1,325,000 goal,” States Scott Barr, Executive Director of the Shelby County United Way. “We were aware of challenges and company changes as we planned for the campaign and announced the goal. Some new challenges took place during the campaign that were unforeseen,” Barr continues. “It truly is a testament of the generosity of our community and company leaders that we continue to reach goal each year. We would like to once again thank all individual, family and corporate donors which support the campaign.”
